Mr. Tanselle is a Director at Navigant Consulting, Inc. with over eleven years of life sciences experience in management roles and consulting. Jack has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries assisting clients with the identification, mitigation and management of key business, legal and compliance risks. Jack also provides expertise to clients by assisting them with government investigations and commercial litigation.

Jack has assisted numerous clients with compliance program enhancements, from proactive continuous improvement to reacting to requirements resulting from government settlements (i.e., Deferred Prosecution Agreements and Corporate Integrity Agreements). He has led or worked on teams serving clients as the Independent Review Organization (IRO), Pre-IRO, as advisor to the Board of Directors and commercial business leaders, and through the development of compliance policies, processes, systems and tools to support key business departments ranging across sales and marketing and research & development. Jack’s primary focus centers on commercialization-related issues, including the management of risk associated with financial arrangements and product promotion with healthcare professionals (HCPs), HCP aggregate spend reporting compliance, and government pricing and reporting compliance.

Jack also has extensive marketing experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, from long-range strategic development and product life cycle valuations to near-term marketing planning, forecasting and brand management. Jack was previously a Director in the Pharmaceutical Advisory Services and Forensics practices of an international consulting firm. Jack served in numerous roles in brand management and sales for a top 15 bio-pharmaceutical company before entering consulting.

He received his M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
